A couple of small things that I really like about my iPod Nano

1. When I take my headphones out, it automatically pauses and turns of within minutes. It's nice because I don't have to worry about turning it off.

2. The headphones are kinda snapped into place. Before, if I dropped my iPod, the headphone jack would come out a lot easier and the player would be on the ground. Not anymore!

Not sure if other players have this, but I know for the iPod, these features weren't always available.

Actually, removing the headphones and pausing the music has been around for a few generations already.

1.) it's been a solid feature for the ipods for a while, and I want to say even a couple from other companies too (can't remember)... but yes a good feature

2.) I'd say that's more due to the less weight of the nano compared to other players. I've dropped my Cowon D2 (flash player) from a ways and 'caught' it with the headphones without a problem. If I tried that with my HDD players the headphones would rip right out and the player would probably be done for.

I love my Nano 2nd Gen 4GB. I use it in the car mostly only now, but it is still great.

Downsides only to me were sometimes the centre click would not recognize and sometimes I was not able to turn it off because the Play button was not realized.

The size is remarkable and perfect for me.

I wish I had a little more control with iTunes however..
