I'm helping out a school system that is trying to make student printer use a bit less chaotic. Ideally, we want to set the system up so that every page is printed with a footer containing the student's username and, instead of the normal "message printed" message balloon, we want to have a little reminder to pick their document up off the printer in a timely manner.
This is an AD domain environment, with server 2003 on the print server and domain controller, XP pro on the client machines.
I've done a fair bit of poking at the question and I've come up empty. I can enable or disable the print notification bubble; but I can't find anything on modifying it. As for footers, I know how to enable footers in various programs; but I can't find any way to enable them at the printer setup or print server setup level. Any help would be great.
