So here's the system I've got coming to me.

Black Windowless QPack with Antec Smartpower 350 PSU and a 20 to 24 pin cable adapter.
Asus A8N-VM CSM full retail box
Opteron 150 Retail (Retail HSF NIB), Retail HSF installed on chip.
2 x 1GB GSkill PC3200 HS Timings 2.5-3-3-6
Western Digital 2500KS 250GB SATA
Liteon 16X CDRW-DVDRom SATA
Onboard video, audio, and LAN in use.
Paul is going to put WinXP Pro on there for me (my own legal copy) as part of the deal, and I plan to add an X700 Pro 256MB for video acceleration and an Audigy 2 NX for optical/digital coax output with DVD-Audio support. I might add a TV Tuner card for some TiVo-like action, so if you have a recommendation for that I'm all ears as well.
I suppose I have a couple of questions. Is the 6150 onboard video sufficient for most home theatre tasks or would the X700 Pro give better picture/H.264 decode acceleration etc? Also, would it be worth anything to upgrade the CPU to a dual core X2 or Opteron that is slower than 2.4Ghz per core (I don't plan to OC)? This PC will just be for media viewing and possibly some high def playback in the future when the HD-DVD and Blu-Ray wars are over and drives don't cost more than the whole system.
Onboard 6150 with Purevideo
nVidia 6150 support page.
Now, I already have the Purevideo program, but it is supposed to work with ATI chipsets too right? My only reservation with using the X700 Pro is pretty much the extra heat it will generate (have an ATI silencer on it, so noise shouldn't be a problem) compared to just using the onboard 6150, as it will be in a poorly ventilated cabinet. Would there be a big quality difference using one of the other?
Again, this will mainly be a system for playback of media and I'd like it to eventually play back H.264, 1080p content, so if there is anything lacking in my current setup please let me know. Help me build a box that will last awhile into the future and I thank you in advance for any comments and suggestions.
