A couple of questions about Boston Public

Is it shot in sets, or did Fox purchase an old school/warehouse to shoot the series? Look big the way the camera walks down the hall and up staircases for what seems to be minutes. Some of the scenes look like a set, especially where the windows look fakely frosted over.

Anyone have details on how and where this show is shot?

Did they ever say what happened to the teacher from the first season or two (can't remember how long it's been on)? The one Harry Senate was seeing? They mentioned her name on one episode this season, but never said anything else about her. Seems weird they just left it like that...I mean, I understand her leaving the show or whatever, but generally shows wrap up the storyline from most founding characters.

Also, I'm glad Harry is now gone. After about 4 episodes, he was downer for the show.

One more thing....is it just me or does EVERY episode have this plot as one of the stories...."Teacher does something bad for a student. Harper yells at them. They spend 10 minutes convincing Harper to let them do whatever....Harper lets them." That is just getting a bit old.

The whole show has the same story line over and over and over.

It's why I stopped watching it. I already know what's going to happen.

Well, I mean, it's not EXACTLY the same story, but it's close.

The characters became too defined and predictabe.

Thanks. I imagine most of the interior shots are in CA, some on a set, with the exteriors in Boston. You don't see Harper walking up the entrance, or smiling out a window at a camera in the parking lot. The logistics must be tough shooting in so many CA schools (they probably use the auditorium of one, the gym in another, etc.).

Ditto. Some of the stuff they had was way too far fetched. Like, how can a teacher get away from firing a gun in class?? That?s so bull, I stopped watching after that. Geez...

I can see that I guess.
