A couple of n00by questions

1. Can I install windows xp mce on my pc which is still running win2k, or do I first need to install regular windows xp?

2. Is it possible to install a Mac OSX on a second hd in the same pc?

Thanks

2. Mac OSX is only meant for MACs. There may be a way(I thought there is some workaround ) but it's really not worth it.

MAC is a Media Access Control or Mandatory Access Control. Mac is short for Macintosh. 😉

While it's not possible to install OSX on a PC, you can install XP on a Mac 😀 And if you don't mind me asking, why do you want OSX on your PC?

Buy a mac.

No, they're stupid. I like the looks of OSX but a pc has far more functionality IMO.

By the way, what is that file you're linking to in your sig?

Yea. It better be worth however much they want for it.

The consumer level hardware isn't priced all that bad. Unless you're just a kid wanting to play games, then Mac OS X is the wrong OS anyways.

Can you install OSX on a PC? Yes, with some work and depending on your PC, you could, but it would take some hacking here and there. After all, PCs and Macs run on pretty much the same hardware now a days, like n0cmonkey said.

MAY you install OSX on a PC? No: it's a violation of the OSX's EULA. You can only install it on Apple built PCs, even if you legally purchased the OS.
