A clean two-stroke engine; is it really possible?

This here looks pretty innovative. Supposedly a design using supercharger to make two-cycle clean burning.

Ontop of that it has a very efficient opposed piston setup, burns diesel, and has no moving parts for the valve setup. Crazy high efficiency as well.

I wonder if it will pass the strict air quality requirements.

It seems really nice. Probably mpg in the 50's when used in hybrid setup.

I've drawn up similar ideas, most of mine were variations still using a "V" like shape.
Intake or exhaust through the point and out between the legs, both 2 and 4 stroke (or even hybrid), etc.

I'm obviously not an engineer, but it's an idea that's been in my head a very long time (so I scribble it down).
If I had any talent or money I absolutely would've tried to prototype something (even a small wood model).

I've had other related ideas too, piston/cylinder shape, various super/turbo ideas, partial shutoff, or even variations to current ICE designs.
I've always been fascinated by technology and engineering type stuff, a highly efficient reliable and powerful engine is the stuff of dreams.
