a cheap 1600x1200 monitor

thats a pretty old monitor. not too many companies make 1600x1200 anymore.

its p-mva though, so it might not be too bad. but its pretty old. like a 4 year old model.

I'm not sure i'd pay $165 for it even though its probably pretty good. I've got some 2007FP dells at work and I Think some of those were also s-pva/m-pva . I am not sure i'd risk it with something like this, it could have dead pixels, and even my 2 year old dell monitors honestly do not seem as bright as even a new TN monitor. I mean a new TN monitor might be even look better than a 4 year old m-pva one. I have used some newer TN ones and they have made some big strides . plus this samsung wont have hdcp and such.
