Funny thing this election, I haven't really seen that many Democrats that seem really excited about their candidate. Sure, they despise Bush and are glad to rally behind anyone whom they think can beat him, but I haven't seen a lot of enthusiasm for Kerry himself. If anything, the main qualification Democrats seem to cite in his favor is either "he's not Bush," or "he's the candidate who can beat Bush." So this thread is for those enthusiastic Kerry supporters out there. Here's your chance to have a thread to yourself to tell us why he's your guy and why you think he's the best thing since sliced bread.
Of course, there's a catch. You have to express why you support for Kerry and think he's the best candidate without mentioning Bush, the Republican Party, or in any other way comparing him to any other person, party, or position. For example:
Acceptable:
I support John Kerry because he favors allocating federal funds to research hydrogen fuel cells.
Unacceptable:
I support John Kerry because he opposes Shrub's illegal war in Iraq designed to line the pockets of his big oil company buddies.
