How's this ArkAoss? I'll argue that debating serves no useful purpose. Sorry, but I can't argue the other side. If something is a fact, there is no point in taking the opposite position. In other words, debating is a game. It's the kind of game where you end up asking what the definition of is, is. :|

If I take a position, it's for a reason, with facts to back it up. You have to make decisions in your life. Make choices. Choose sides. It's not a damn game!

Windogg and Moonbeam both made me laugh my ass off, unfortunately, I have nothing really to say other than, this; if you want an endless debate, go to the CPU/overclocking sections and post a topic saying, &quot;Intel sucks.&quot; Then after 2 days you can say, &quot;Intel rules&quot; and tell your opposing debaters that they were rooting for AMD. Its bound to work on some people .

Is hate crime legislation really necessary?

I say no, it's not illegal to hate somebody. Once you've acted on that hate, however, you fall neatly into one of the existing categories: Assault, murder, rape, whatever. Bottom line is you committed a crime against a person; whether you hated the person or not is meaningless. Nobody assaults somebody because they love them.
