That's pretty much how I think of it too. Very average/mediocre, "all sliders to default settings" kind of thing. The western-most part of the state is a bit more west-ish, but basically nobody lives there anyhow.front range of the west. some call it the Midwest. we wear dusters and Stetsons and pointy boots to formal gatherings.
also, nebraska is an ok place, but I would call it mid west. culture is not western at all.
its the same name locals call anywhere 3 states meet. Corner of Iowa, illinois and Missouri is called the tri-state area.i've never heard of this "tri-state" area
