I live in NYC, Lower East Side. Near the village.

Really cool neighborhood.

Usually when I go on a date with a girl from that area, or the rare one from Brooklyn, I'll always pick a bar there called Clandestino for a couple drinks so it's convenient for them. Though that's not close to the village.

Used to go to places on Orchard street back in the day and that area. Casa Mezcal served me up some good stuff a couple times too.

Ah yes, in much the same way as Vermont and Maryland are basically the same, so too are Nebraska and Washington

That's pretty much how I think of it too. Very average/mediocre, "all sliders to default settings" kind of thing. The western-most part of the state is a bit more west-ish, but basically nobody lives there anyhow.

its the same name locals call anywhere 3 states meet. Corner of Iowa, illinois and Missouri is called the tri-state area.
