im building a new rig, and i want to put a lot of trimmings on it (fans, lights, etc). now, recently i came upon the intelligent idea of using two power supplies instead of one (one for the board and peripherals and one crappy one for fans and lights) and i think i wanna try that. but theres not a lot of cases out there that have room for the 2nd ps and i sure dont want to externally mount it. what kind of cases would be good for this, ya think?

i found the lian-li pc77. very nice, huge. but it'll prolly cost a bundle and im not sure if the 2 ps's would fit for sure. if anyone knows of a good case for this set up, id like to know. or if anyone has any comments about pros/cons of this type of set up, feel free
:)

thanks

CompUSA sells a generic full tower case for $99. I've used it. It comes with a 400w power supply already, and is easily large enough to mount another PS in. I really don't think you'll need another power supply though.

How about the Inwin Q2000 which comes with two 300 units standard and a motherboard tray. Here are the specs link to case

If it looks good then try this to get the unit for $150 with full warranty
clearance cases

I have had good luck with their clearance units except for the black Lian-Li and thats Lian's fault for putting a low quality finish on the unit (read soft and easily damaged vs anodized)
