ok, ive never overclocked before, but im ready to start.
system:
3.0 GHZ C (idle temp 32-37 C) stock HSF
AB60N shuttle
1 GB (512MB X 2) CAS 2 DDR400 Dual channel
Radeon 9800 Pro
Audigy sound
400W Raidmax PSU
8X Dual format DVD-RW Optorite
16X DVD ROM Sony
all cooling is stock
i know i need to upgrade HSF for CPU and 9800 Pro, but i dont know to what....i hear the arctic cooling is great for the 9800 Pro, but i dont know what for the CPU...
after i get new cooling installed, then what....i up the CPU by uping the FSB in the bios (probably where it says clock 200MHZ right now), do i have to do anything to voltage? How big of increments to bump the FSB. Should i just use the OC tool that came with 9800 pro to OC it? should i get ramsinks for the 9800 pro as well, and if so, how do install them?
my RAM already has heatspreaders, should i OC it?
anything else i need to know?
thanks
