A Bit OT: Need Quick Advice on New Cell Phone

This is a bit OT, but I have seen cell phone posts here in the past.

My Motorola Timeport 8767 (Verizon) is defective and my reseller can't get another one. He is asking me to go with another phone, but I really don't trust this place to select an equivalent quality phone for me. Any suggestions??? Tx very much!

Get that little motorola, not the vphone thats teh size of your thumb, but the one thats in between that size and the startac size. I have a timeport (it rocks), but if our verizon rep for our company can, she's going to get me one of those. I don't remember the model number off hand, but it looks cool and people say its a pretty good one. Go to motorolas website and you can probably figure out what I'm talking about.

The only Motorola's listed for Verizon are the Timeports, StarTacs and V series. There are 3 different V series phones (60c, 120c and V8160). Are any of these the one you are referring to???

V60C. I just noticed it's around $400 to buy, but you probably get a deal if you get a new contract. That's the one I plan on getting. Now to see if they will let me keep my 1000 anytime minutes for $10/month.

Yeah, they won't give me the V60c, they said it is much more expensive than the Timeport. They offered me the LG TM510 for an extra $20. I refused because I thought the Timeports were actually more expensive than the LG TM510's. So I'm still looking, although the LG TM510 doesn't look bad.

I'd spend the extra money though (if you have it 🙂 ) and see if they will let you pay the difference. I think that phoen is cool.
