It's a remake of old Mega Man games, slightly redone and with a new main character. I guess it's possible, but isn't it unlikely he programmed the game from the ground up? Wouldn't he have "disected" a Mega Man game or something, and just put in some new sprites and moved some levels around or something?
Also, on another message board I frequent, a guy mentioned adding new characters to Marvel vs Capcom 2, simply as a personal project since he recently finished game design school.
So, what I want to do... is make an online version of Final Fantasy Tactics. I'm playing through the game again for the nth time, and me and my friend were talking about how it would be fun to play against somebody else. Is there some way I can get the game onto my computer? Or is that even in the right direction?
Maybe I'm attempting something way too complicated. I've only had C and Java after all. Hell, maybe I could even start with some text based game to play online. Assume I wrote a tiny text game in Java or something, how would I make it playable on a network?
Bah, sorry for my incoherent jumble of a post. It's like my brain couldn't make my fingers type what I'm thinking, and instead I just dumped a bunch of words in here for you all to interpret. =(
