A bit of annoyance but...

After some use again with the lappy (it has become my main machine now and my desktop Athlon 2600+ mobile setup rests as a file storage computer), I have noted that the speakers are unfortunately right under where my wrists rest when typing on the laptop.

Typing and playing music is fine and all, if the Inspiron 6000 is actually sitting below the wrist resting point (and it applies to the other Inspirons too). However, since I have it on a desk and my wrists are resting at this point, this muffles the sound.

Granted the laptop speakers are nothing to write home about, the quality is decent but if you want to use the lappy speakers and type at the same time, then be sure you dont rest your wrists on the lappy.

Long term I forsee? Buildup of dirt, oil, etc on the speakers with the use of the laptop.

Again, a small nitpick.
