Also, oddly, the file size is bigger than what will fit on a CD - will I be ok putting it on a DVD?

Do I just drag those two files in the Nero windown and burn them onto the CD?

Thanks.

You could also use a program like daemon tools or alcohol 120% and simply 'mount' the file on a virtual CD-ROM. Works great if you dont need to burn it. I've saved a TON of CD's working this way.

But yes, as said above, Burn Image works fine.

If the file is bigger than 700mb then the general rule of thumb is that the CDr will need to be burnt in MODE2 and not the default MODE1......open the .cue file with NOTEPAD and check which burning mode has been specified.

A lot of .cue files have been messed with when dloaded from the net (people change the burning mode for fun so that newbies are stumped and think they have dloaded a duff .bin file................I wonder how many people never figure this out.....mawahahaha!!!!) so burning from an .cue without checking it out first is HIT AND MISS at best....and so is burning the .bin as an image unless you know which mode to burn it with first............if unsure write to the NERO's image drive first then MOUNT the image with a virtual drive. DO NOT TRUST .cue files unless YOU created them.

[Cliff Claven] Heres a little known fact about those erruh .BIN files, though it may appear that they are too large to fit a CD they actually shrink when you burn them. [/Cliff Claven]

yeah so basically why don't you just get a .bin extracter and extract doom 3 to your HD...you know since once you beat it..its no replayability due to pooched multiplayer will bore the player; the game may then be deleted.

yeah, open the cue file with daemon tool and it'll create a virtual drive. sometimes the bin file can be bigger than 700mb, but when burnt to a cd or mounted on a virtual drive, you notice the data inside is less...unless the bin/cue file is made from 800/900mb cds...then that's a different case...
