Is there any way to make the SPOILER tag to work proper way here...

Cuz the way spoiler tag works currently .. is a very unusual way .. lol .. instead of hiding things under spoiler .. it shows it this way... here is an Example:

Here how it shows: :)

I'm not sure I see the problem. The spoiler tag is hiding the spoiler. What exactly is the issue?

Generally when using the spoiler ... it should not be all the black (you can see above) crapola ...

Usually when using the spoiler .. a spoiler button would be displayed .. and then click on it will show up the hidden info .. click on it one more time would hide it again.

That is how other sites do it. This is Anandtech, and there's nothing wrong with the way it's done here.

Okay, I see what you're getting at. The current spoilers are intrinsic to this version of vB. We'd have to upgrade vB to get the other style of spoiler. Which isn't out of the question, it's just a big undertaking at a time when the IT staff is probably still busy with the main site redesign.

They said it couldn't be done...They said nobody could do it...but
Spoiler buttons are low in code...with more style to it! :D
This spoiler button thing isn't perfect. It works about like you suggested on Firefox, but on Chrome you have to hold down the button to see the spoiler. Ironically, this means I can't click the link in the spoiler in Chrome, when the style is installed.

Edit: Yes, I could do a user script, but i wanted to see how much I could do with Stylish.

I would like it to be changed because sometime I have a huge quote or re-post and don't want to fill an entire page. ;)

And I understand it would be a big project and I'm not saying right now, I just want this idea to happen eventually.

The main thing for me is the spoiler tags do not show in subscriptions. If I am subscribed to a thread and I read the new post in the e-mail notification, it does not indicate the post is a spoiler. It can really suck.

Spoiler tags are also a pain on a mobile device. I just view the forums in the full version on my phone and I can't "mouse over" to view the spoilers.
