Stephen Baldwin will be attending the convention.

FoxNews

I wonder if Don King will be there.

Ugh.

On a more serious note, I wonder if the GOP can rangle Ed Koch into coming to/speaking at the convention.

LOL - that is funny indeed. Was Corey Feldman not available? Maybe they'll ask him to re-enact their favorite scenes from "Bio-Dome".

Here are some more luminaries from their all-star lineup:

Among other performers who will appear the convention are Christian singer Gracie Rosenburger, rock band Dexter Freebish, country singer Darryl Worley and gospel singer Donnie McClurkin.

Who the hell are Dexter Freebish?

Ed Koch will show up anywhere if it gets his ugly puss on TV. He does support Republican candidates such as Guiliani.

They are an up and coming band. They have had a ton of gig's in Texas. You've probably heard one of their songs but you didnt know it was them. They are pretty good band, Ive heard them a couple times in College Station and Austin.

As Ed Koch puts it, because of the "Bush Doctrine" and well hes a jew that doesnt like Kerry's plans with Israel. He doesnt agree with Bush on any domestic issue, but supports the "Bush Doctrine" and his foreign policy.

How does this track with your post above, in which you said Koch was supporting President Bush because "he doesnt (sic) trust the radical left that will in all likelyhood (sic) control any John Kerry administration"?

Come on DonVito. You as well as I know that the left wing of the democrat party will put pressure on Kerry on foreign policy matters.

Christians en masse supporting the party of greed and self-interest baffles the heck out of me. As absurd as it may sound, do you HONESTLY think, according to what we know about Christ and his teachings, he would be a republican?

Yeah, he's voting for him because Bush FLIP-FLOPPED on the settlement matter. "Oh, go ahead, why not build a few more settlements...." Of course Koch is going to vote for him.

Do you really think Jesus would be a Democrat?

He wouldn't be either . . .

There's no need for Jesus to be a Republican. He'll just talk in their ear. ;)

From my point of view, liberalism (though largely unrealistic taken to its fullest extent) seems to correlate well with the teachings of Christ.

If Stephen Baldwin would just do something besides acting it would be OK with me. One of the most irritating actors ever IMO.

So, what I get from this thread:

If someone recognizes that their lifestyle is counterproductive to happiness, their associates misguided, and their behavior wrong, they can't change???

I applaud Baldwin if he sticks to his newfound life-plan. If he reverts to his former ways, then I'll feel very sorry for him.

I think part of the ribbing that he's taking is from Liberals who find it hard to believe that someone who is in a Liberal industry can change their mind.

I used to drink like a fish, carouse, change the girls like they were underwear, party all night, never sleep, and couldn't have cared less about me, you, or anything other than getting my jollies. One day I woke up and saw there to be more to life. I quit my job, moved to another state, another career, got true friends, got married, had kids, and have never been happier. It all happened ten years ago. I have never wanted to go back to the old ways. I can only hope that it's the same for others.
