a 600e , 650e, or 700e is better for OCing

Think they are equal in OC'ing but why buy 600E if you can afford the extra money $'s and buy a 700E@933 😀

I have no Idea when the next stepping will arrive 🙁

AoD 😉

They all hit 133MHz, so 700E will give the highest possible clock speed of the three. Thats the one I would buy. The cC0 stepping should be by now.

I have purchased two PIII-700e (cB0) Retail CPUs and neither will do over 910 MHz with any stability. I also have a PIII-550e (cB0) oem CPU that runs fine at 733 MHz. My point being that it is a crap shoot, but one I am willing to take. A PIII-700e @ 910 MHz (130 MHz FSB) with RAM at CAS-2 still ROCKS!🙂😀🙂😀 It runs on an ASUS CUSL2.
