$2.5MM? Suckers. I could have bought that for $2MM with my 20% off coupon from Harbor Freight.

Boggles the mind. Surely it wasn't their first boat. You'd think they'd know how to launch the thing. Or better yet, have a crane system.

It has a pretty shallow hull for launching at a relatively steep angle, not sure what kind of magic the guy though was going to happen.

I would of been questioning the abilities of the people launching the boat when they suggest using maybe $2,000 of equipment on a muddy shore to launch a $2.5m boat (the inside must have gold plated walls and ceilings.)

I love how the ass end of the boat is sinking, water is flooding the main cabin, and they keep on pushing it in...

hahah yea that's the best part. They're still pushing even though its clearly sinking/filling with water.

Wow. I've never seen a ship launched from an empty lot before... where was it constructed?

First step in building a ship. Build a ship yard.

Maybe they read Alky's thread on professional boating tips prior to the launch?

give it 30-50 years and we won't be laughing in the same way we do now. They'll learn and quality will improve.

Could be very true, many don't remember how shitty Japanese products were in the beginning, and look at where they are today.
