A 2.4c and an 8KNXP, now what RAM to get?

Another "what RAM should I get" question....but a little different so bear with me.

I'm getting the proc. and the mobo. Right now I've got some PC2700 Kingston (512) and some Samsung PC2700 (256) in my system. I want to OC this thing but I'm thinking I'll need some new RAM. What should I get? And, lets say I get something faster and leave the Samsung RAM in my system. Will that be pointless and slow it down (in other words do I need to replace all the RAM)?
