Amazing for its time, even with the raspberri pi doing the network stack. My mac plus got a pr0n virus where a naked monochrome woman would dance in the corner and then go away.

Older computers can actually be quite capable for everyday tasks. I still use OS 9 on a regular basis. Believe it or not people are still developing new software for these old OSes too!

I suppose if you're really on the cheap, but I'd rather buy an ultrabook.

Don't get me wrong I love messing around with old hardware, but I wouldn't use DOS or Windows 3.1 for day-to-day even if I could. Just not as efficient even when it works.
