the price should drop again soon (significantly)
since the nv20 will be available sometime in the next 2-3 more months.

Anyone got a guess on the price of the NV20? If it's something like $700+ when it's released I guess I will wait for the Geforce2 GTS ULTRAs to go down to $350 before I pick one up.

these babies should be down to $300 real soon! maybe less, cause that STILL is a lot of damn money just for a vid card...

this is what i think it should be (and probably will be real soon)

$100 - DDR 32Mb
$150 - GeForce2 32Mb
$200 - GeForce2 64Mb
$250 - Geforce2 Pro
$300 - GeForce2 Ultra

just my opinion

Scrub, your price guess looks about right, but the NV20 is still a ways off...I would guess that right around E3 (late May) we will see the first NV20's on display, and they will be available in stores shortly after that.....they will be in the $400 neighboorhood as well...

I will say the the Ultra is a fantastic card, if you can afford it I highly recommend it!
