I'm running a 1.2GHz AXIA (factory multiplier unlocked), on an Iwill KK266R+. I've got it cooled with a lapped SK6 & 80mm fan, with ASII.

I'm having limited success in OCing it. I can change the multiplier and FSB fine in the BIOS. But when I try and change the voltage all goes black after the reboot. I have to clear the CMOS in order to up and running again.

My chip's L7 bridge is set at 1.75v. As seen here > http://www.geocities.com/blain450/1200Axia.JPG
Will I have to connect the L7 bridges up to 1.85v in order to take control of it in the BIOS? :)

Thanks

sounds like a bios issue. you should not have to unlock the L7's to get voltage control in the bios.

I broke down and pulled the T-bird out, cleaned it up with acetone then 91% alcohol. I connected the L7 bridges up to the 1.85v max.
Re-lapped my SK6, just for good measure, re-applied the ASII and slapped it all back together.

BINGO! Connecting the the last of the L7 bridges did the trick :D
I can now adjust the core voltage around where I want it, without the thing freaking out.
