x86 is already The New Era.

Independent Computer. I.e Not connected to main frame but large as a 4 Drawers File Cabinet started with the 4K memory, teletype only communication (No Monitor) PDP-8A. Circa 1974.

Personal Computer started with Sinclair ZX, and Radio shack Color computer.

4K memory and storage on cassette tape.

The color computer with a 300Baud Tel. Coupler Modem and Compuserve was a dream come through. ;)

The two floppy x86 IBM PC in 1981 was already Modern Heaven.

The Seagate RLL 60MB Hard Drive for $600 was life as good as it can ever be.

And Now I have one of this "stinky" IP35 that can Not start without double Boot.

Northstar Horizon with a Z-80 CPU at 4Mhz / 2 5' floppy drives / no hard drive / black & white video card / max of 64KB of RAM
Used the S-100 BUS which was the standard back then (around 1980 or so) .. It ran Northstar DOS and Northstar BASIC .. you could also run a program called CP/M which was for the techies types. This thing weighed a lot, about 10LBS or so with a huge
power transformer and 2 large caps over 2 inch diameter and about 4 inch in height.. Still have it, but it has not been turned on
for over 9 years or so.
