_____ KVM's... Powered or un-powered? _____

I've only used un-powered KVM switches in the past. I have had a few instances where older PC's work sometimes and other times don't.

Do powered KVM switches work better with older (I'm assuming weaker) PC's?

This is just a guess but they probably need more power than the other ones that is all guessing it really wouldnt make a difference if there is guessing the powered one would be better.
