I'm tossing together some odd parts that I've got laying around. I'm going to install a Wicked3D Vengeance "Banshee" card on a SOYO 6VCA Apollo Pro 133A MB, the OS will be Windows 98.

Are there any odd-ball type drivers needed to get the Banshee card to work with the VIA chipset? Or can I just use the latest Win9x drivers for the best performance?

I think you should be OK as long as you have the latest win 98 drivers for the card & have your 4 in 1 drives installed.

You might also want to try a taxi cab driver to get you to a store for a different card;)

I got a Banshee card from creative running on my Abit KT7A, and its rock solid. No worries.

No special drivers or anything beyond the usual banshee drivers and the Via4in1's. The drivwers for the old Banshee are rock solid are work perfectly on the Via133A in my experience.
