__ Tax Software? __

I waited until the last minute and was tired when figuring my taxes last year.
After making a couple hundred dollar mistake last year when filing, I figured I'd give a tax program a shot this year.

Most of our income is regular wages, along with a little capital gains, dividend and interest. We don't itemize (not enough deductions).

* Got any suggestions on a good/simple tax program?

That's right. Turbo Tax needs to be boycotted because of their activation policies. Plus, they sent me an "official looking" CD in the mail containing a Deluxe version of their software. Only once the product was opened, did I notice that they would require $39.99 for me to activate the software before use. However, they did package it and present it in a manner that I was receiving the software because I had not used their software in a few years. Intuit seems kind of sneaky to me. For this reason, I'll use one of the competitor packages this year. :)

Based on what I've heard about turbotax and the fact that HRBLock's Taxcut is very cheap for the standard one that's the one I'm going to be using.
