9th Circuit rules against Trump's third attempt at travel ban

Trump's failures just keep stacking up... Thankfully the US has checks and balances to prevent him from codifying much of his blatant racism and bigotry,

A panel of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday ruled against the third iteration of President Trump's travel ban, saying it goes against federal law.

"We conclude that the President’s issuance of the Proclamation once again exceeds the scope of his delegated authority," the court said in its ruling.

The most recent iteration of the ban bars people from eight countries — six of which are predominantly Muslim — from coming to the U.S.

The San Francisco-based appeals court, however, said the Trump administration could continue to bar individuals from countries in the Middle East and North Africa from entering the U.S. if they do not have a "bona fide" relationship with someone in the U.S.

The court said the ruling would be put on hold pending any review by the Supreme Court.

In the ruling, the court said that "the Proclamation’s indefinite entry suspensions constitute nationality discrimination in the issuance of immigrant visas," and that it discriminates against travelers and immigrants in the same vein as Trump’s previous travel bans.

The Supreme Court decided earlier this month that it would allow the latest travel ban to take effect, while litigation ran its course.

A Richmond, Va.-based appeals court must rule on the ban before the Supreme Court revisits the matter.

The Trump administration has pushed for a travel ban since January, which it says is necessary to safeguard national security. But each iteration of the ban has run into legal disputes, prompting the administration to issue increasingly narrow orders.

It's now been nearly 12 months after the 6 months that they claimed they needed to figure things out.

Anyone paying attention and willing to believe these clowns would rightfully assume that they have already figured things out, therefore the Muslim Ban is no longer needed, right? One kinda wonders why they keep pushing for it, after the initial claim has long expired.

I believe these bans are just side show attractions meant to distract attention away from other more significant things like this Russia investigation.

It’s almost as if this ban was never about national security and was instead about signaling hostility to Muslims.

From my understanding the courts generally view policies that come before them as being enacted in good faith. That’s probably a bad idea with the current administration.

But just remember, it's not a Muslim ban because SlowSpyder told us it wasn't. Even though Trump called for a Muslim ban, even though the urgency of the ban was clearly a lie, even though it has little correspondence to actual terrorist threats...

Translation Reads: If judges continue to do their job and rule on the letter of the law, Trump will replace them with people who will be paid to not follow the letter of the law. Shame that kid doesn't have any friends whose ass he doesn't stick his hand up and work their mouths...

Trump and his fellow partners in crime over at the House and Senate are already working very very hard behind the scenes to make that happen with Mueller and his team of ace investigators.

This shit has the look and feel of a takeover by the Bananapublicans. Let's hope they crap all over themselves like they did with Hillary in their attempts at obstructing and usurping the rule of law they so often scoff at when things don't go their way.

And before the "what-abouter's" start chiming in, lying about a blow job isn't even in the same universe as far as what Trump and his lackeys are being investigated, arrested and already found guilty of. Not by a long shot out to the very edge of our ever expanding universe it ain't.

Say Hi to your friends and tell them all Happy Holidays...
