9npa+ ultra - Windows xp hangs on start - please help.

I did a search, but no luck.

I have:
9npa+ultra 12/21/2005 bios
opteron 146 w/xp120
seagate 160gb SATA2 HDD
WD 250gb SATA2 HDD
x1800GTO
OCZ DDR500 2X1gb

Windows hangs on start up - I just installed windows, started to do uptades and after one of updates I can't boot up anymore.

Any help is appreciated

Can you boot in safe mode?....

Also recommend you have Recovery Console installed at some point,Link.
