my gauge of "stable" is 20 passes of Linx max memory

I've tried both 4.4 and 4.5, but vary a ton V wise, before i get into that I'll list the common parts:

RAM - 2/12 divider, 9/9/9/27/2T (Gskill Ripjaw spec)
DIMM Volatage - 1.600
Speedstep / CxE / Turbo / Execution Bit / Virtualization - Disabled
HT - Enabled
QPI - 6.4
CPU PLL Vcore / IOH Vcore / IOH/ICH IO Volatage / ICH Vcore - Auto
QPI PLL Vcore - 1.2500
PWM Frequency - 1067
WITHOUT VDROOP

Now to the specific details for each OC:
4.4Ghz - 33x133, 1.3500V, +150mV VTT, Highest temp in Linx - 68C
4.5Ghz - 33x137, 1.42500V, +275mV VTT, Highest temp in Linx - 75C

I've tried playing around with a higher multiplier and lower BCLK but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Is this about average? Below? Am I missing something? I'm coming from a i7930 and these X series chips seem to be a bit different when to comes to OC'ing... so any advice is much appreciated.

I'm guessing my 4.5Ghz setup isn't good for the CPU even though I am on water... thoughts on that?

just an update... I decided to disable hyperthreading...

results, 34x133 = 4522MHz @ 1.39V and +275VTT (so 1.375V)... temps unchanged, maxing out at 68C

changed the memory multiplier too to 2:14 and the uncore to 21 (has to be 1.5x at the min for these chips)

insane that disabling hyperthreading can cause such a huge change

4.4 at 1.35 is great ... I don't think 4.5 is worth the jump in vcore...

I wasn't sure... not sure what is "good" and "bad"

anyways, dropped the CPU PLL VCore to 1.425 (1.80 stock)... gave me a ton of head room.

new setup... 34x133 = 4522MHz @ 1.3625V and +150VTT (so 1.250V)... temps around 65C

gonna stop here and be happy with it
