Ive done my research and the d6 error means the motherboard cant find a video output source. I have a Radeon 7870 GPU in the PCI e2 slot. When its in that slot it comes up d6 error.
When i move it to the PCI e4 slot, it comes up with d6 error.
When i move it to the PCI e5 slot, it works perfectly.
BUT! if i take my old nvidia 9500 GT, that doesnt need power connectors from the psu, and plug it into the PCI e2 slot, it works perfectly. Why wont my 7870 work in the PCI e2 slot, but the 9500 GT will?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
