99 Saturn SW - drivers side power window is STUCK

Yes folks.. its stuck.

This is NOT the first time this happened. Its happened before. But now one cant get it up even by assisting it up with your hands.

I have no idea whats causing it. I dont hear any whirring sound nothing. So how do i go about fixing this.

This saturn has had lots of electrical gremlins over the years.. its weird. When we first got it the power locks wouldnt unlock unless you used teh remote. Then later the window had a problem. Its fucking weird!

i think electrical problems are common with late-90's early-00's GM's.

start by taking your door apart to see if there's anything mechanical blocking it. if that's fine, test the motor (which you can see once you get the internal panel of the door off). oh, i guess there are fuses and voltages you can check before you test the motor.

chilton's or haynes manual for your car is the first step.
