I just got one from an EB B&M. They went on about the thing only having a 60 day warranty and that I should buy a one year extended service plan for $15. What does anyone think about this, is it worth it? Also, babbages was selling refurb's GC for $90 with a 90 day warranty. Anyone think that's a better deal than this one? (refurb PS2 and Xbox were $120).

i returned my PS2 2x already, so the 3rd time i got an extended warranty. i bet you now that i bought the warranty it will never break. LOL

i hope GC is better quality.

Buy 5 games at 9.99 = $50 roundabout

get $100 store credit.

then buy a gamecube, mem card and $30 game = $150 + $20 + $30 - $100(store credit) = $100

get the $50 voucher in the mail.

basically you spend $50 to get $100, $100 for cube and you end up with another $50 at the end.

all spent $150, you get a console, game, mem card and a $50 voucher.

Most of the $9.99 games you'll find are probably on their exclusion list. Call ahead before trading any cheap games to save yourself time.
