99 Blackberries... tried it tonight

I like 99 Bananas so I headed to the local ABC store tonight to pick up a bottle. I saw a bottle right next to it named 99 Blackberries (the 99 series are 99 proof/49.5% alcohol with a fruit flavor for the uninitiated) and decided to give it a go tonight. I must say, mixed with Sprite or Sierra Mist it's very tasty

3 drinks and I'm very satisfied with my purchase tonight.

Next week I'm trying 99 Apples. Anyone else tried these liquors before? Any suggestions on ways to mix?

The 99 Bananas are very easy to mix into a tropical type drink, it's great sh*t!

i've tried 99 Apples too, expect the same exact thing, but with a green apple flavor

99 Bananas is great with squirt, now i wanna try 99 blackberries!!!

I haven't tried the other 99's.. But I did try 99 Apples. I hated it. To me, it's almost like vodka straight up with a slight apple taste in the background.

That's why you have to mix it with something. 50% alcohol in almost any liquor means it will burn if you drink it straight

any of the 99 series is great served chilled in shot glasses. i especially like the 99apples. very nice sour apple spike to it.

exactly. what's the point, if your going to mix it. schnapps liquer always has a great taste just strait. if you want something sweet, but are worried it's too strong, just get something like alize. it's like 20% alcohol, & tastes about as sweet as can be.
