980Ti SLI doable on 750w PSU?

This is probably wishful thinking, but can a 750w Gold PSU handle a 980Ti SLI setup?

Technically yes, but it's not recommended (and you already probably know this). Single card peaks around 260W, and since in SLI you usually don't see as much watts per card, I'd say 500W peak in SLI. Add 150W for processor and other stuffs, and you're still 100W short of the maximum which should be fine with a high quality unit, albeit noisy... and unnecessary. Spending $1400 on graphics cards means you shouldn't have a problem spending $150 on a new 850-1000W PSU, other than having to do a rebuild.

I totally agree, if your spending 700 on a video card, get yourself a real nice power supply.

I would do at least a 1000w just to make sure you can do some upgrades and addons in the future.
