9800PRO Overclocking, clock speed question.

Sort of new to graphics card overclocking, never bothered much until quite recently when I got bored enough to investigate it at work. Heres my question.

This card lists a memory clock of 680mhz, however when viewing this in ATI Tool it displays as 324. Can someone explain to me what the differences are with these figures just for my own informational purposes?

You basically take your 324 and multiply it by 2 = 648MHz is how fast your ram is running.
Remember, DDR ram is Double Data Rate so you take the actual speed it shows times 2.

🙂

if you are going to buy it, get a 6600gt for the same price. the 256 mb version overal shows less than 1 percent improvement over 128 cept at 1600 by 1200.

Actually thats a card I had laying around from a test build I did for the girlfriend and mine just blew. Was toying with ATI Tool and was just curious about the displayed numbers.. in retrospect it was sort of a stupid question. 😉 Thanks for the info!
