9800pro or 6600 non-gt or 6200 (agp)

I am in the process of buying a video card for my new computer and am trying to squeezing my pennies so hard my fingers are beginning to hurt!

I have been looking at the 6600gt's but I think $200 is more than I want to spend. I knw that they have been on sale and rebates, blah, blah blah but I hate rebates and am not sure about the reliabliity of the cheap 6600GT's(XFX).

Now I am looking at the 6200 (Gigabyte GV-N62128DP GeForce 6600 Turbo Force Edition AGP 8X 128MB DDR Video Card ) or the 6600 version . $120 and $130 respectively

I also am interested in the 9800 pro which seems to be dropping in price.

I almost forgot. Does "Turbo Force Edition" mean the same as "turbocache" which would be bad I assume?

Just get the 6600...why?

1. As fast/faster than a 9800
2. Cheaper than a 9800
3. Has shader model 3.0 as opposed to the 9800's 2.0

So the 6600 will be a better buy for the future...Don't believe me? OK. a 9800 gets 2600 in 3dmark05, and a 6600 gets 3100...

Just OC your 6600 (it can take alot of OCing...) and you'll have a hell of a decent card.
Oh, and get leadtek.

ALSO, make sure the 6600 is 128bit!!! Don't get chaintech. Leadtek...you want them, they are the best quality. 6200 isnt that great, so i wouldnt get it (stay away from anything with tubro or cache in it).

Definitely get the 6600. I have a Leadtek 6200 agp, in my backup machine, that softmodded to 6600. $120 new. The agp Leadteks have almost a 100% success rate on unlocking the extra 4 pipes.
