9800pro flashed to XT

I bought a 9800pro flashed to XT and in the benchmark programs 3dmark03 and 05 it has triangles and all kinds of other anomolies but in games it works fine...at least HL and HL2

This scares me...is this something I should be scared of?

Yeah. It's called borderline instability -- your card may be overheating, or the core/memory is just not stable at XT speeds. 3DMark uses different kinds of shaders (and much more of them) than HL2, so it's hardly surprising that you'd see issues there if you're right on the edge.

Try under clocking it down from XT speeds and see what happens. Sounds like an core clocked higher than it can handle.
