9800p showing up as "Radeon 9800" in device manager

Is this normal to have a built by ati 9800 pro show up this way?

I checked the card with the ati utility, and it is showing up there as a 256mb r350 (and the only 256mb cards are either 9800 pro or 9800xt).

As long as your clock speeds are correct, I wouldn't worry about it.

i have the powercolor card and it shows up as pro.

use a program to check your speeds

You didn't list the correct bios part number (not enough digits).

Check the bios part number (Display Properties> Advanced> Options> Details) and enter the bios part number (minus the dashes) into the search application on this page.

It has 256mb of ram so it has to be a pro. They don't sell 256mb non pro 9800's.
