9800p oem only 207

I wanna know too... every week, I see these "oem saphire radeon 9800 pros" in the newegg refurb sections for like ~$160. very tempted to get one, but after looking at the pictures, theheatsinks seem so flimsy and the enire card just looks to cheap and stripped... can't seem to trust it enough to buy one.... anyone else have any thoughts?

am I missing something, or is this a fantastic deal? It very well may not be, I'm just curious.

Thanks,
Bruce

its a good deal but compusa had a retail for $199 after $30 rebate

That deal is still alive at CompUSA and expires after tomorrow. Get in on it. Geez, $199.99 for a state of the art videocard? Saturday is the last day to get in on this and yes, even if they are out of stock, you can get in on this.

Why get an oem card from Newegg for more money when you can get a brandnew retail card from CompUSA?

CompUSA should pay me to promote this but all my buds that I have talked into this deal are thanking me. 😉

Stay away from Xtreme Gear and GameVE. Your safest bet is with NewEgg.com. They have the 9800pro OEM from Sapphire for 214.00 shipped. Its worth the extra 7 bucks to buy from a reputable vendor.

Can you show us a link for the card your looking at? Sapphire manufactures most of ATI's cards. So they are identical.

yep, If xtreme or gameve has a good price you can bet your bottom dollar its a dead card or at best a returned one.

No you cannot get in on the compusa deal if they are out of stock.. at least not here in oregon. I tried they say NO sorry no rainchecks.
