An SLI mobo is not required to run a GX2, right? I'm sure all those Intel chipset guys would hate giving up their huge overclocks to shell out more money for an nvidia-based board.

but from some of the reviews, it does require an nvidia chipset, since sli on the card is disabled by default. hopefully nvidia releases a fix for this. i'm itching to get a GX2 just for the hell of it and give my 3870x2 to the lil lady. :D

Correct, I doubt anyone including myself will get rid of those good Intel chipsets.

No way am I about to ditch my IP-35 pro for this... Regardless I just do not see anyone with a HD3870 or 8800 series purchasing this or any 9800 series if this is accurate 9800GTX review
