9800GT vs GTX 260

Yeah, i just checked the benchmarks for them both and the 260 definitely is the better card. Thanks anyway bro.
Jeez, i feel like a noob here. Oh well, theres always time to learn 🙂

I dunno if anyone visits techsupportforum and listen to those techs, but they will tell you the 9 series is repackaged 8 series, like 9800 = 8800, 9600 = 8600 and so on.

Dont know how true they really are, sometimes wonder if they aint people sent out by companies to advertise their products.

dont even get me started about the power supply war over there.

9800GT, besides possible die shrink, is the same as an 8800GT is sp's and features.

9600 is not the same as an 8600. 9600 of any flavor is far faster than any 8600.

9500 is similar to the 8600.

Confused yet? 😉

If you are new I can only imagine how difficult the naming scheme for both sides are.

It was pretty clear cut back with my geforce 2.
