are there any differences?
i'm planning on ordering a 9800 pro on ebay.
if there's no difference, i want to get an OEM because i live in korea, and i'd like to save on expensive international shipping costs.

OEM is just bare cards, no connector cables or anything

OEM might have a 1 year warrenty instead of the standard. but they may be only for CPU's

With Retail you get:

Box
Manual
Warranty Papers
Video Card

With OEM you get:

Video Card

How's that. It's cheaper with OEM.

oem = video card, plain white box or zip lock type bag, maybe manuals ,cables , with driver cd and 1 year warranty , usually $20-60 cheaper than retail

retail= video card, fancy box ,manuals, cables ,driver cd ,usually comes with games and accesories and 3 year warranty , $20-60 more expensive than oem

so ultimately no speed differences?

i got an oem radeon 8500 last time and ended up with 230/230 instead of the 250/250.
i don't wanna get jipped like that again.

cool. oem radeon 9800 pros seem to be at around $250 on ebay.
maybe i won't have to wait till spring to get a card.

8500 is supposed to be 275/275.

The reason I didn't mention speed is because both OEM and manufacturers can make changes to speed, so it is problematic in both instances but moreso in OEMs. You're just gonna have to find the real clock speed and make sure that is what you're getting.
