What's the best way to determine what core your card has? I'm trying to sell mine and want to be able to tell folks which one it has.

Thanks!

ATItool or SiSoft Sandra will tell you, I think.

If it's 128mb you probably have the r350

If it's 256mb you probably have the r380

Whoever is buying wants it to be an r380 so he can flash it to 9800xt.

and that's not true. if u bought ur card new within the past year, it's most likely r360. i got mine's more than a year ago, sapphire 128 megs, flashed to XT.

Is it reasonable to assume that if a 9800 Pro has thermal monitoring, then it has a R360 core?

The only way to tell for sure is to take off the cooler and look. I had a 128mb r360, but originally atitool said r350 until I flashed the modded xt bios. Also, it did not have temp monitoring, but the flash worked successfuly, so you never know until you check manually.
