9800 Pro vs ....?

I'm reading about the mid priced X700 and comparable Nvidia cards... I am not ready to upgrade yet, but I am curious whether my 9800 pro remains competitive with these newer cards or if I'm already *really* outdated

9800 Pro plays any game right now at max settings perfectly. It will last a good while still.

I'd wait. Unless you're a serious gamer who spends all their money on every upgrade cycle. But then again, if you were, you would have already upgraded and wouldn't have bothered asking!

I had a 9800 pro up until like a week and a half ago.. ran great. only reason I upgraded was I got a huge deal on my 6800.
