What would you say is the minimum CPU specs to utilize the 9800 Pro? I was thinking about getting an XP 2600-2800+, is that enough?

Really? But that would incur a heavy penalty on the video cards potential to perform, wouldn't it? What I'd like to know is where those performance gains start to die out.

I run with one on a 2100+@2600+. I would say it's a pretty well balanced system. Of course a faster CPU would give me more fps, but so would a better video card :p

The 3000+'s are overpriced as far as I've seen, so a 2700+ should do well, then.
