hi everybody, my problem is with the video card in my second PC. the card in question is a Radeon 9800 Pro. when the PC first boots the posts test goes off with some loud and frequent beeps. than the error message appears on the monitor. the error message reads: you have not connected the power extension cable to your Radeon 9800 video card, please refer to the "getting started guide" for proper hardware installation!!!. now i did reference this guide, which is just a basic guide that did not help me very much. i tried using every different unused power connector, switching with other components, re-arranging the daisy chain of power connections, making a solo connection. and from as far i can visibly tell the y-power connector thing that came with the card is as attached as it can be. i even put the card into another computer, with no know problems, and the error still came up. at this point i think the problem is the with the card itself, but i dunno, could there be something else that i could check and or missed to fix this problem? also, if the card does need to be replaced, which cards should i consider in its stead. any help would be greatly appreciated
