9800 pro biosed to XT

Right now I have a geforce 4/4400. I have a friend offering me his 9800pro which is biosed flashed to XT version. How much of a performance increase can I expect over my Geforce 4400.
He's asking 90 bux canadian now. I probally get about 65 bux for my geforce card from where I am . I'm just wondering about performance increase. I play halflife2,,,farcry,,swat4, amonst other games.
Is that 9800 pro worth it to me ?Thx for any responses here.

Yes, it is most definately worth it. Also, I doubt you're gonna get 65 bucks for that card you have.

I can hardly wait for it now, Also,with my core speed at 310 on my geforce and 585 on memory my geforce gave me 11,120 on 3dmark2001se. Will I see a difference in benchmarks too?,and about how much should I get with that 9800pro/XT ?

Run 3Dmark03 as 3dMark 01 is mainly a cpu benchmark now. A Radeon 9800Pro or XT would be somewhere along the lines of two and a half times as fast as a ti4600(which is a bit faster than your card).

 
Thx for the replies. And I have bought a 9800pro. I'll get 60 bux for my geforce for where I live. It still played all the games I play , and still made me happy till now 😉
One question tho. Is it the bios flash that makes it a XT ?.
 
The 98pro will give you a good performance increase, i wonder how low ur graphic options in farcry must be that u can "play" it \o/
and 90CAD is a fair deal, unless the card is 2 years old...maybe u ask him, how old it actually is. 98pro generate a lot of heat, does it have stock cooling?.
