Just replaced my GeForce4 ti4400 with a brand new 9800 Pro All-In-Wonder. Here are my specs:
Epox 8RDA+
Athlon 2400 (Not Overclocked)
512 Corsair XMS PC2700
I uninstalled the Nvidia drivers, shutdown the box and removed the card. Installed the Radeon and when I hit the power button the PC would seem to power on for a split second and power right off. I figured that there was some issue with the power supply not giving enough juice since now I had to hook it up to the Radeon (I also have 2 cdroms and 3 hard drives in the box). The Power supply was an Antec 300W. I took that out and replaced it with a 400W Antec that I had lying around and after hooking everything back up last night the PC finally powered up and I was able to install the Catalyst software from CD and everything seemed to be working fine.
I wake up this morning and attempt to power on the PC and sure enough, it's doing the same thing where I hit the power button and it powers on for a split second then power right off. This is now with the Antec 400W power supply in the box.
Any ideas on what is going on. I can't imagine that I'm not getting enough juice from a 400W PS. HELP!
Thanks...JS
